In October 2026, DCI approved Gold to move into World Class beginning with the 2027 Summer Tour. DCI says the decision followed a multi-year review of finances, governance, rehearsal and housing logistics and tour management. Gold will join the new division after years of Open Class development, making the 2027 season a major organizational transition as well as a competitive change. Gold’s management told DCI that winter auditions would begin December 12 in Eastvale, California. Read the full DCI report.
